This Catalina is under restoration in a building near the museum. Initially on display at Bosbad Hoeven from 1957 until 1982, then at the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum at Kamp Zeist, Soesterberg until 1996. Trucked to Valkenburg for restoration, but wings severely damaged in a storm. Fuselage trucked to Schiphol in Jul 2004 for painting, and back to the museum by 2005. Unfortunately it was not returned to display, but stored in the museum's Annex at Soesterberg AFB. Trucked to Nieuw-Vennep in Aug 2020 for further restoration at the Nederlands Transport Museum, but museum closed and aircraft returned to Soesterberg in Sep 2023 for continued restoration, as seen here. Given USN BuNo 46595 in 1943, this Cat was demobbed as N9501C but by 1963 was operated by Panair do Brazil (for oil company Petrobras) as PT-AXM. In February 1963 it joined the Forca Aerea Brasileira with s/n 6551 designated as a C-10, continuing operations in the Amazon. Ferried to Fort Lauderdale in by March 1984, it flew on to the UASFM in July, the nose gear collapsing on landing at Wright Field. By 1988 it was presented as OA-10A 44-33879 of the 2nd Emergency Rescue Sqdn in the Pacific Theatre with a 'Snafu Snatchers' logo on the right side and mission marks on the left

Ex USN BuNo 46457 and Brazilian AF FAB 6510, painted to depict a USAAF OA-10. After retirement from the Brazilian AF in 1981 the aircraft was acquired by warbird collector David Tallichet, registered N4582U and in 1983 flown to the USA. In 1984 Tallichet negotiated an arrangement with the U.S. Air Force Museum and the aircraft was flown to Kirtland AFB where it remained for several decades. The registration N4582U was cancelled on 2nd December 2016 as exported to the Russian Federation, and the aircraft was last reported in 2021 at the UMMC Museum in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk, Russia.

Conducting a flypast at Rotterdam while on its farewell flight through the Netherlands. It left the country later that month.

On display in the colours of the Spanish Air Force, this Catalina is actually ex US Navy 46596 and was never in use with the military in Spain.

ex BuNo 48446. To N5591V, YV-209CP and N285NJ. Delivered to Italy in 1987, but overran the Turin runway in 1989 and was subsequently written off. Location of this picture is likely, but needs confirmation. Photographer unknown

Taken on Charge with the USN with BuNo 46602 in October 1944 and deployed to Brazil, flying anti-submarine patrols over the Atlantic. Placed in store at NAS Litchfield Park, AZ in 1949 and supplied to the Mexican Navy in 1957. Acquired by The Flying Firemen as CF-FZZ in 1966. In 1986 sold as N607CC and delivered to the museum in 1987. Extensively damage by Hurricane Ivan in September 2004 but repaired and now awaits shipment on loan to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

One of the last Geosurvey Catalina / Cansos operated in Canada, C-FJJG is ex US Navy 48423. It was sold in the USA as N423RS in 1986.

This aircraft, ex BuNo 46521, was the first of a batch of six taken bought by the Netherlands navy. It arrived at Schiphol on 19 January 1951, but crashed four days later when landing at the Aviolanda works in Papendrecht for modifications, and was a write-off. Former US Navy as 48317. Registered as N1495V in 1951 for ferry flight to the Netherlands. To the Netherlands Navy as P-212 in 1952, later 16-212. Preserved at Bosbad Hoeven from 1957. Moved to the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum - MLM, Kamp Zeist in 1982 then to Soesterberg for storage in 2005. Moved to the Nederlands Transport Museum, Nieuw-Vennep for restoration in 2020. Back to Soesterberg in 2023.
