Built as 42-23648 and flew with KLM (PH-TBG) after World War II, this C-47 was converted to an executive transport in 1951 by Atlantic Aviation. Utilized by several companies, first as N9997F and later N104E, the aircraft would be registered to Air O'Hare in 1973 as N9BC. On January 1, 1975, it was en route from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale on a charter flight when the number one propeller oversped. The engine was shut down, but the remaining engine eventually overheated and lost power. Forced to ditch near Fort Lauderdale, the three people on board were rescued.

This is a former Eastern Airlines Martin 404 delivered January 23, 1953. Later with Southern Airways, it came to Florida Airlines via subsidiary Shawnee Airlines in 1977 as Southern ran into financial difficulties. Florida Airlines ran into financial problems itself as deregulation allowed majors to fly secondary routes, declaring bankruptcy in 1980. They flew their Martinliners during restructuring until the final shutdown in 1981. With Pro Air from 1983 - 89, the aircraft has been stored at Flying Tigers Airport outside Paris, TX since 1990.

Former L-20A 58-2011 was delivered to the US Army April 27, 1959. Acquired by Lauzon Aviation circa 1973, the aircraft has continued to fly to into the bush with various outfitters in Ontario and Manitoba. At the time of uploading, the aircraft is current with Alair MHA Enterprises based at St. Theresa Point Airport in Manitoba.

The original "Memphis Belle" on display in the World War II Gallery at NMUSAF. Built at Boeing Seattle, she was named after Capt. Robert K. Morgan's girlfriend Margaret Polk. Flying with the 324th BS, 91st BG at Bassingbourn, England, the B-17 was the second USAAF bomber to complete 25 missions over Europe between Nov. 1942 and 17 May 1943, preceded by 358th BS B-17F "Hell's Angels" in this feat. She was the first to return to the USA and completed a three-month war bond tour with more than 30 stops.

This An-2 was originally delivered to the Ukranian directorate of Aeroflot as CCCP-40240 in November 1986and then from August 1993 the plane became UR-40240 and flew with Avialini Ukrayiny. In August 2000 it was exported to Romania and reistered YR-LAR started flying for Aviatia Utilitara, although operated by Aero Scoroget. From November 2010 the plane was fully flying for Aero Scoroget from LRCB, however, the fuselage is now stored in this compound on the east side of the airfield. Note the small propeller atop the fuselage, this is used to stir the liquid in the chemical tank during flight.

Z7258 and Z7261 Women of Britain, 'the day before they were presented to No 24 Sqn RAF by the Silver Thimble Fund.' Elsewhere we found that the date of the ceremony was 21 May 1941. Ex G-AFMH and G-AFMJ of Airwork, these Rapides were already used to for military training before they were impressed in July 1940. They were only used as ambulances briefly in 1941. Registration cancelled on 14 June 1976 and then to an unknown owner in Oklahoma City, OK. Further registration changes noted in January 1977 to the same owner and then reported as scrapped. VH-EBE was used to carry cattle from Pakistan to Papua New Guinea, then under Australian rule, for a program to develop a better breed for hot tropical climates. The cattle were not allowed into Australia for biosecurity reasons. Biosecurity also meant the cattle had to be kept on the aircraft from Karachi to Port Moresby. This An-2 was originally delivered to the Krygzstani directorate of Aeroflot as CCCP-33321 in July 1987, later becoming UR-33321 in Ukraine. The westward progression continued as in 1996 it was registered 9A-BZB and from November 2010 it has been on the Serbian register as YU-BSA.

Very rare photo of ex USAAF 42-72334, which was converted by Douglas to C54B-DC, and delivered to Pan Am as NX88892 in August 1946. For some reason the aircraft was registered with the NX prefix, denoting "experimental". It was reportedly never taken in service and remained unnamed (note it only carries the word "Clipper", without an actual name). Instead it went to Avianca Colombia as C-114 in September 1946, but on February 15, 1947 the aircraft crashed into Mount El Tablazo en-route from Barranquilla to Bogotá, killing all 53 people on board - which at the time, was the worst commercial airline crash in history.
