The second A300 built. Delivered to TEA 25 Nov 1974. WFU and stored at BRU Nov 1990. Broken up Jul 2003. In the background on the pier a British Airtours 707, a Spantax Coronado EC-BJC or BQA and Wardair 747 C-GXRA. In the background is 1-11 HZ-MFA.

This was the second Airbus ever built and the only A300B1 that entered in commercial use! This model was 2,65m shorter than any other A300B. Six months after being photographed here it was written off from use in Brusels where is resting now in painful state.

One really old Airbus - in fact the second ever built. Little did they know how many would follow! First flew 5.2.73, operated by TEA throughout (although leased to Air Algerie twice) and wfu BRU with 31028 hours and 14925 landings in 11.90. Eventually broken up by 7.03 after use as an evacuation trainer (plans for restaurant conversion did not come to anything)

Early production A300B1 which served TEA from November 1974 until November 1990.

This was the first visit to Ringway by a member of the Airbus family.
