Rebuilt to fly in Canada by Bob Diemert, CF-SMI, imported to UK for use in the film "The Battle of Britain". Dreadful handling qualities due to incorrect airfoil section used on ailerons - note no ailerons fitted in this photo. Dick Richardson borrowed a set from Z7015 and after air-testing by Duncan Simpson had a new pair manufactured. Problem solved. Aircraft destroyed in Canadian Warplane Heritage hangar fire on 15 February 1993. This photo is copyright © Gordon Riley, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
