This Lincoln (RAF RF342) served as a research and test aircraft, first for Napier in icing research and then for Cranfield University. It was unique for being fitted with the nose section from Lancaster TW911 and featured nose graphics representing various wing and tail sections of aircraft fitted atop in icing tests. Seen here in 'B' Class markings, it was also flown under registration G-APRJ. When the Southend museum closed it was dismantled, the nose going to the US but large sections ending up with the Moorabbin Air Museum in Australia where a slow restoration process has recently begun

Delivered to Austin Airways December 21, 1956, this Beaver has spent it's entire career in Northern Ontario flying people and freight in and out of the bush. Based in Temagami, ON since 1979 with Lakeland Airways, the aircraft is current with them at the time of uploading.

slide scan from th NK collection. - Sterling Airways has operated two Friendships for a few years, both aircraft were sold to East West Airlines of Australia in 1973. Friendship 10341 came back to Europe in 1999 and would fly for Farner Europe until 2009. Stored at Bergamo as HA-FAC, it was broken up after 2012.

This T-28B was stored awaiting overhaul at the Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) at NAS Pensacola, FL. It had previously been assigned to Attack Squadron 122 where it was used as a target range spotting aircraft. VA-122 in 1972 was an A-7 Corsair II training squadron, and used T-28s to assist in weapons training primarily at NAS Fallon, NV.

This A-4E was awaiting overhaul at the Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) at NAS Pensacola, FL. After that was completed, it was transferred to the Israeli Air Force in September 1972.

This preserved A-4E was stored awaiting overhaul at the Naval Air Rework Facility at NAS Pensacola, FL. After overhaul, it was transferred to the Israeli Air Force in October 1973.
