Departing shortly after 12:00 noon, the aircraft arrived five hours later in Fredericksburg, Texas for an overnight stop. Delivered to the USAAF as 44-903 as a C-54E in 1945. Renamed to the USAF in 1947. Converted to an MC-54M in 1951, later became a C-54M. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code CC235 in 1973. Sold as N4989K in 1978 then to Phoebus Apollo as ZS-PAI in 1998. Stored at Rand. Still there in 2022.
