slide scan from the NK colllection. - One of the two ex KLM DC-8s in Martinairs fleet. This aircraft was sold to African Safari in 1973 and was seen in storage at Stansted in 1977, still wearing the famous zebra colours of the African airline.

Originally a DC-8-63 with Flying Tigers (N790FT) from 1969, the freighter was leased to Air India for almost a year (1982 - 1983). Flying Tigers sold and leased it back from Cammacorp during Air India's lease. Cammacorp took the aircraft back in July 1984 and converted it to a DC-8-73 for lease to German Cargo / Lufthansa Cargo 1984 - 1997 (D-ADUE), Next it flew with Emery Worldwide Airlines and Air Transport International (N606AL) until stored at Mojave, CA in 2012. Leased to Ribway Cargo Airlines in 2014 as 5Y-RCA, the aircraft was flown to Wilmington on delivery, but was still there by June 2020.

A Jet Trader with TCA / Air Canada from 1966 - 84 when it was sold to United Air Leasing. Subsequently flying with VIASA on a short lease May 1984 - March 1985, keeping basic Air Canada colors and registered YV-128C and Aeronaves Del Peru from February 1987 - sometime in the 90s. It was broken up at Opa Loka, FL in December 1999.

K25 slide scan. Built 1964 as PH-DCS for KLM. PAL RP-C843 1977. Lukim Air Services 9Q-CKI 1985, EL-AJO Liberia World, Kabo Air 1990, Cargo Plus 3C-FNC 2001, Kinshasa 9Q-CMG 2003, withdrawn Kinshasa. Operating a flight for ZAS and bound for Amsterdam from Cairo with a full load load of beans. The flight diverted into Nuremberg as most of the Netherlands and Northern Germany lay under dense fog. Was able to carry out a CAT I approach only it got stuck for a lengthy period.

Delivered new to United Airlines (N8086U) in July 1968. Converted to freigther and over to VASP (PP-SOP) in September '91. Returned to lessor one year later. In March 1993 to Fast Air. In December '99 over to LAN Chile Cargo (CC-CAR) and immediately leased to Florida West Airlines and from September 2000 leased to MAS Air cargo (XA-MAS). In Feb2003 to TAMPA Cargo (HK-4277). Crashlanded at Miami, in Feb2007, when undercarriage collapsed on landing, when aircraft veered off the runway. Broken up at KMIA in the same year.

Delivered new to Panagra in September, 1960 and seen here at JFK in April, 1967 just after they merged with Braniff. It was rr N1802 and sold to Capitol International Airways in November, 1967. On April 28, 1968 it crashed at ACY whilst doing touch and go landings.
