US Navy 46645 built 1945, to N10013 registered May 1956, to CF-IZO registered June 1956, in 1983 reregistered C-FIZO. In 1990 it was sold to the Forsvarsmuseet at Oslo-Gardermoen and later it went to Bodø for display in the Norsk Luftfartsmuseum. As Norway never had the PBY-6A with the tall fin this aircraft was restored in 1994 with the smaller fin of the PBY-5A and painted as RAF FP535 to commemorate the real FP535 that served with 330 (Norwegian) Sqn and that had disappeared in Nov 1942 near Iceland

Originally a Canadian Air Force Canso (ex 11005), delivered in October 1943. It later flew in Canada as CF-NJF / C-FNJF, and in the summers of 1966 and 1968 it was leased to the French Sécurité Civile as F-ZBAY and F-ZBBD respectively. It was acquired by Plane Sailing Catalina Operations in late 2004 and based at Duxford. Seen here still being flown by them 13 years later, in the markings of USAAF OA-10A Catalina 44-33915.

In January 1981 N68756 was painted in the RAAF markings seen here and, sponsored by Newcastle TV station NBN and the RSL Building Society, was brought to Australia for a tour coinciding with the RAAF's 60th anniversary. The aircraft returned to the US a few months later and was withdrawn from use in 1986. It became derelict at various locations in Texas, before being used as a spares source by HARS circa 2008 and the Pima Air Museum, AZ in 2009. In September 2017 it was sold to MotoArt Studios and broken up, to be converted into luxury furniture.

The aircraft used to pioneer a crossing of the South Pacific from Australia to Chile in 1951 under the command of Captain P.G.Taylor. The Boeing Canada built aircraft, a Catalina Mk.VI (ex RAF JX630), was stored after the flight, firstly at Rathmines flying boat base then from 1959 until the mid 1960s at Rose Bay. It has since been fully restored, reassembled and is displayed at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.

This Canadian Vickers-built Canso (ex C-FJCV, CF-JCV, RCAF 11054) was hired from its owners, Catalina Safari Company, to fly the Peter Stuyvesant Travel Odyssey in 1993. This was a filmed tour to Mexico, USA, Newfoundland, Greenland and Iceland. It included a contest between teams from Holland, Belgium and France, and was later shown on TV in these countries. After a job well done, the Catalina returned to Africa to fly tourists from Egypt to Zimbabwe, but was sold as ZK-PBY a year later. It was still active there by 2016.
