One of two BAC 111s acquired from the creditors of British Eagle Airlines after they abruptly ceased operations in November 1968. Registered April 15, 1969, the airliner followed it's sistership C-FQBN leased to Airways International Cymru on November 1984. Later leased to Manx Airlines and British Midland Airways. Sold privately via Crown Assets Disposal Corporation as CF-BNM (later C-FBNM) in 1972, the trainer was acquired by the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association in 1998. Taken on strength June 1956, this Chipmunk was retired in November 1971. Sold privately via Crown Assets Disposal Corporation as CF-BNM (later C-FBNM) in 1972, the trainer was acquired by the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association in 1998. Now known as the Canadian Aviation Museum, the Windsor based museum keeps several aircraft in it's collection airworthy and available for rides to the public.
