Once no stranger to London Airport as British Eagle's G-ATPH, this 1-11 was acquired by Airways Cymtu in March 1984 from Quebecair (C-FQBN) and was initially operated in the blue overall scheme inherited from that carrier. Seen here on a rare return to Heathrow for a charter, it passed to Dan Air in April 1988 as G-BPNX after Cymru's demise, ending up as 5N-MZE with Okada. Scrapped 2016

Although painted with Cymru titles on return from its lease to Manx in January 1988, the airline went into receivership the next month and G-WLAD remained parked at Lasham and then Southend until May 1991 when exported to Nigeria

Having been painted in the full new colours of BMA in late 1985 when leased from Airways Cymru, the former G-ATPL and C-FQBO was leased by Manx between May 1987 and January 1988, being repainted once again. Went to Okada as 5N-OVE in 1991, surviving until 2016

Became G-YMRU when Airways International Cymru was formed in March 1984 and G-BPNX with Dan-Air four years later, inheriting basic Cymru colours as seen here after that airline's closure. One of two BAC 111s acquired from the creditors of British Eagle Airlines after they abruptly ceased operations in November 1968. Registered April 15, 1969, the airliner followed it's sistership C-FQBN leased to Airways International Cymru on November 1984. Later leased to Manx Airlines and British Midland Airways. Again, like ex C-FQBN, it was bought by Okada Air in 1991 and was stored at Benin City at the end of 1997. The aircraft was broken up in 2016.

Built for British Eagle and delivered April 28, 1967, this BAC 111 was bought by Quebecair after the British carrier ceased operations in November 1968. Registered April 15, 1969, it was one of seven operated by Quebecair as their first jets. C-FQBN returned to the UK as G-YMRU for Airways International Cymru based in Cardif, Wales as their first aircraft. Dan Air London picked up the airliner after the Welsh carrier ceased operations in 1988. Last with Okada Air as 5N-MZE, it is stored at Benin City in derelict condition at the time of uploading.

Still in the colour scheme of its former operator Quebecair. This was at the height of the miners strike and there were a number of charters into EMA bringing police officers from various parts of the UK to police the picket lines of the coal mines in the Midlands. Delivered 28Ap1967 to British Eagle International Airlines as G-ATPH. Repossessed Nov1968. To Quebecair as CF-QBN 15Apr1969. Bought by Airways International Cymru Mar1984 and registered G-YMRU. Repossessed 19Jan1988. To Dan Air as G-BPNX 29Apr1988. To Okada Air of Nigeria on 29May1991 as 5N-MZE. WFU and stored at Benin City Dec1997. Noted May2010.
