First flying in 1963, XM606 was retired by the Royal Air Force on June 7, 1982. Donated to the 8th Air Force Museum at Barksdale AFB, this aircraft remains a survivor. It does, however show some signs of 40+ years displayed outside like the collapsed nose gear strut.

After the aircraft was withdrawn from service on 7th June 1982 it was donated to 8th Air Force Museum at Barksdale AFB, LA. and is now on permanent display there.
