Registered C-FMKH with Bombardier test flights, this Dash 8 was delivered as N505LX to Lynx Aviation, a subsidiary of Frontier Airlines Holdings. Sky Regional Airlines (Air Canada Express) leased the aircraft 2011 - 2017 when Jazz Aviation took over their Air Canada Regional flying. The last revenue flight was on April 1, 2020 and the aircraft leased to Nigeria based Umza Aviation (Umza Express) as 5N-CAC.
