P-39 42-19597 was converted to a TP-39Q two-seat trainer during World War II. The aircraft was abandoned after emergency landing July 20, 1945 at Hobbs, New Mexico . Eventually used by Capitan High School, Lincoln, New Mexico, it was acquired by Joe Brown of Hobbs, New Mexico and donated to Confederate Air Force in the 60s. Registered N6968, it was restored to airworthy in single-seat configuration 1968-1974. Flown regularly in USSR markings at airshows, the fighter is still with the renamed Commemorative Air Force at the time of uploading.

Built during World War II, former US Navy and FAA DC-3 was modified to a motor home. The derelict aircraft was moved from Rolla, Missouri to Michigan in 2019 and mounted on a truck chassis. The owner kept as much of the original aircraft as possible, using engine cowlings for front fenders and moving the air stair door to the right for an entry door. The vehicle is registered as a Class A motor home that can be driven in 50 states.

Originally with serial 26046, this Tutor is practically a billboard of markings compared to the average CT-114. 429 Transport Squadron crest on the nose (like the T-33 behind), Instrument Check Pilot badge on the rudder and a couple of spider zaps by the intake and on the rudder. The latter were probably a gift from 421st Fighter Sqn "Black Widows" at Hill Air Force Base , Utah. The trainer served with the Snowbirds aerobatic team during the 1989 - 1993 seasons before it was stored. It later became a Category A training aid at CFB Borden, ON where I believe it remains.

Swiss luggage manufacturer Rimowa financed the manufacture of this Junkers F13 replica and is building more for interested customers. Formerly HB-RIM, the aircraft was registered N13JU recently. The replica is very close to the original save for the Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior radial used as the powerplant and more modern landing gear. The German - Swiss project was launched in 2009 with the aircraft's first flight in 2016. Museum examples were studied and old manufacturing processes revived to ensure accuracy.

Ampaire's Electric EEL technology demonstrator, a modified six-seat Cessna 337 Skymaster, keeps its Continental IO-360 piston engine in the rear and replaces the front piston engine with an electric motor in a parallel hybrid configuration. With batteries in the fuselage cargo pod, fuel consumption is reduced up to 40% over a standard Skymaster. The aircraft flew a 1,135-mile leg between Mojave, CA, and Hays, KS, a record for nonstop hybrid-electric aircraft enroute to this year's AirVenture at Oshkosh.

Beautifully restored Beaver in US Navy colors. The aircraft was actually delivered to the US Air Force as 52-6138 on July 24, 1953 (a day short of 69 years ago when photographed). Later with the Alabama Army National Guard before stored in 1972, the aircraft was sold in 1975 as N6138C. Made airworthy it was exported to Canada as C-GWPL for North Cariboo Flying Services. To the USA in1984, it carried registrations of N530SC, N111YA and N530BJ. The aircraft was stored in Washington state for some years before this recent restoration.
