I met my wife on this aircraft in October 1972. She was one of the cabin crew! The aircraft went to Presidential Airways in January 1986 as N312XV and America West in June 1987, with whom it was re-registered a few months later as N198AW. It was damaged beyond repair in a landing incident at Tucson AZ on 30 December 1989.
The earliest livery carried by the Britannia 737s. This was the first on the UK livery. The transparency has degraded badly with the pinkish patches being where mould had grown ! In those days it was possible to walk onto the ramp if you had the nerve
