Built by MacDonald Brothers at Winnipeg in 1944 as RCAF12417. Registered CF-HOT in 1955 as an aerial survey aircraft and here in service with Spartan Air Services. On 8 May 1957 it transited through Prestwick en route to Australia on a survey contract and returned to Canada in 1959 as shown here. Part of the Canadian Warplane Heritage collection since 1980.

Built by Canadian Car & Foundry in 1944 as RCAF11804, to Crown Assets Disposal in 1954 and civilian registered in 1955. No fate is known for the aircraft.

A total of 1832 Avro Anson Mk II were built in Canada by five companies including 340 built by Canadian Car & Foundry in Amherst, NS (including No. 7135). Delivered to the RCAF in August 1942, it was assigned to No. 4 Training Command in November 1942, and allocated to No. 15 Service Flying Training School at Claresholm, Alberta in April 1943. Postwar, it was stored at RCAF Vulcan, AB and sold to a farmer and recovered by aviation enthusiasts many decades later. The restoration team spent 5.5 years and a total of 16,528 volunteer man-hours restoring this aircraft which was completed in 2009.

Built in 1937, a single Anson Mk.I, RAF serial K8741, was delivered to Estonia and is seen here during the inauguration of Helsinki's land airport. Note triangle national insignia on the wing. Registered as G-AGPG in 1945. Last flight to Southend for preservation in 1967. Damaged by vandals at Southend after the museum closed then moved to Lympne in 1983. Moved to Brenzett in 1986 and stored in the open then to Chadderton in 1996 and Hooton Park in 2000. Dismantled due to its poor condition in 2011/12. Front fuselage restored and moved to Woodford for preservation. Remainder scrapped.

Used to carry tourists to Rottnest Island off the coast of Perth. Flights stopped when Ansons were barred from carrying passengers or flying over water. After a failed attempt to sell VH-WAB to the Dutch air force in Dutch New Guinea, it was donated to a farming friend of Jimmy Woods as a play thing for children. Used for rain-making experiments. Retired in 1958 and sold to Adastra Airways at Sydney airport. When Adastra applied to reregister the aircraft, the Department of Civil Aviation advised that under the conditions the CSIRO registered VH-WMA it had to be scrapped when retired by it.
