Presently displayed at Tamworth Airport, the home base for the former East-West Airlines. The RAF Museum thinks it has this aircraft but has VH-AZU ex LT773. The two aircraft were stored at Sid Marshall's yard next to Bankstown airport. East West Airlines acquired ASM, which was its first aircraft, from Marshall in 1972. AZU remained in the yard until after Marshall's death in 1975. The RAF Museum's confusion is a mystery as ASM was complete and on display when it bought its wingless Anson in Australia. One of the 13 aircraft assembled on the eastern boundary at Southend for the nascent British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived by air from Shawbury on 14 March 1967. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972. By that time TX211/G-AVHU had been vandalised. It donated its outer wings, rudder, tailplane & port engine to VL348/G-AVVO in the summer of 1971 and was scrapped late 1971/early 1972.

Acquired by Tippers Air Transport at Halfpenny Green from the RAF in October 1967 along with several others of the type. To the nascent British Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend in September 1968. The museum did not proceed and the aircraft languished at Southend, here seen without engines of outer wings. When the BHAM was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) G-AVVO was surplus to requirements and the fuselage was obtained by the Newark Air Museum as a replacement for that of G-ALIH which had been destroyed by fire in May 1971. On display at Newark as VL348 in 2021.
