This is a rare shot of this aircraft carrying Air Atlantique titles. It had previously been operated by Martin-Baker (the ejection seat company) and the aircraft was later broken up at Coventry. Photograph is from a 120 Kodacolor negative, Mamiya 645 and standard lens. Scanned with Canon 9950F.

Bare metal C-117D (ex US Navy BuNo 39070) photographed shortly before going to the Colombian Air Force as FAC1632. While there, it remained current on the US Aircraft Register as N34AH, and in fact returned to the US as such in 2005. It was then parked at Benson, AZ and was still there by 2024. Unfortunately, it appears the aircraft did not make a single flight during the nearly two decades of storage there.

Newly overhauled and painted, VH-TAI is rolled out of the Hawker de Havilland workshop. It would later be donated to Laos as aid.

Ex VH-TAH. Withdrawn from use in 1968 and later sold. Ended up with Jetair.

Built as a C-47A and converted to Wright engines. Scrapped in 1970.

TAA aircraft withdrawn from use at Brisbane in 1968. Soon after the photograph was taken it was sold in Indonesia as PK-RDH.

On display at Málaga's airport museum in Iberia colours with fake registration. Is in fact ex EC-CPO.

Picture taken soon after its arrival from Papua New Guinea to be repainted for its new Indonesian owner as PK-NDH.

Supplied as aid to Laos in 1971

DDA's second DC-3 making a low pass over runway 32 (now closed), at the end of its delivery flight from Malta, in the company of ill-fated sistership PH-DDA. It already carries the name "Doornroosje" just below the cockpit window (with "Sleeping Beauty" on the right side). This DC-3 would not fly again for 12 years due to a very thorough restoration. When it did, on 7 May 1999, the Pyramid Airlines colours in this photo (ex SU-BFY) had been replaced by a nice retro Martin's Air Charter livery. The aircraft was withdrawn from use in October 2012, and initially stored at Amsterdam-Schiphol. In September 2016 it was dismantled and transported by barge to the Aviodrome Museum at Lelystad.

Built for American Airlines but taken over the US military as a C-50 in World War II. After the war it was sold to Australian National Airways and fitted with Wright engines in common with the rest of the ANA fleet. It had been built with Wrights but Pratt and Whitney Twin Wasps were installed in 1944. It passed to Ansett with the takeover of ANA and remained with the company until stored at Essendon airport in 1970. In 1972 it was ferried to Melbourne Tullamarine and repainted in Ansett's contemporary livery, then ferried to Moorabbin airport for display. It remains there.

Joined Australian National Airways in 1946, to Ansett-ANA when that airline was created in a merger and converted to a "Cargoliner" in 1960. Sold in Laos in 1968 as XW-TDM. It was shot down in May 1973.

Operated by Australian National Airways, its successors and subsidiaries from 1945 to 1972 when it was donated to a children's charity. After 13 years in a playground it became a McDonald's restaurant at Midland, Western Australia, then a museum and finally ended up at rural property at Myalup.

Built as C-47A. Converted to Wright engines in 1947. Withdrawn from use in 1966, scrapped in 1968.
