This Cessna 185 was previously with Harbour Air from the mid 80s to 2013.

In 1968, Purdue University formed charter carrier Purdue Airlines, partially to allow students from their aviation programs to gain modern jet experience. The airline operated three DC-9s (and provided crews and maintenance for Playboy magazine's executive DC-9). The airline shut down in 1971. N9339 had been leased from Air West / Hughes Airwest (1969 -1971) and was returned. The aircraft went to Republic Airlines in 1980 (Northwest Airlines after 1986). Sold to Evergreen in 2009, it was flown to Marana, AZ and broken up for parts.

Delivered to the US Navy in 1956 (bu 139665), this Skyraider was transferred to the South Vietnamese Air Force in 1967 keeping the serial number. When the government of South Vietnam collapsed in 1975, the aircraft was flown to Thailand by an escaping pilot. Shipped to the USA circa 1980 and stored by Yesterdays Air Force and later Military Aircraft Restoration in Chino, CA, it was sold to Great American Aircraft Maintenance in the late 90s and restored, registered N665TC. It's in the collection of the Tennessee Museum of Aviation at Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge airport in Tennessee.

This Spezio Tuholer was built 1969 and flew with the same owner for forty years. Tragically on October 3, 2009 during a local flight from Summerside, P.E.I, the pilot reported a problem and the aircraft entered a spin at low level, impacting the terrain.

Taken on strength by the US Navy in August 1965, this Orion was retired to AMARC in March 1990. It was among eight P-3s bought by Brazil circa 2002; five to be upgraded by EADS / CASA in Getafe, Spain to P-3AM and the other three for spares. This one departed AMARC in 2008 for Spain and subsequently delivered to the Brazilian Air force as FAB 7207 in February 2013

First flight on September 12, 1982 (G-14-3621) and registered G-BKWK, this SD 360 was registered to Simmons Airlines as N365MQ in November 1983. The aircraft flew as Republic Express, Northwest Airlink and American Eagle until returned to the Shorts in 1994. Pacific Coastal Airlines operated it 1995 - 2006. Pacific Coastal sold several SD 360s including C-GPCN in 2006 as it re-equipped with Saab 340s. This aircraft went to Aruba based Tiara Air as P4-TIB. Stored at Reina Beatrix International when withdrawn in 2016, it was acquired by Skyway Enterprises and parked at Kissimmee, FL for parts.

Originally a Bell 205A which was registered N4771R (Petroleum Helicopters 1971-1975) and A7-HAF before coming to Canada in 1980 as C-GQLG for Liftair. The helicopter was active with a long list of operators until March 2019. It moved to the USA where it was registered N68EC and is current at the time of uploading

Training in the Seneca College Aviation and Flight Technology program 1973 - 91, C-FKWD was next owned by First Nations Air Service until sold privately in 1995. The aircraft is current on the Canadian Registry at the time of uploading.

CP Air began a change back to it's original name with this new color scheme in 1986. The change was cut short when owner Canadian Pacific Limited decided to get out of the airline business and sold off the airline subsidiary to Pacific Western Airlines. That resulted in the formation of Canadian Airlines International in 1987. Later operators were Air Canada, Zip Air and Canadian North before the aircraft was sold in 2006 as N167WP and placed with Venezolana as YV295T. In he fleet until 2012, the aircraft was later scrapped.

Built circa 1939, this Luftwaffe Fi 156 was discovered derelict in East Germany in the 1980s. Re-built in the USA, the aircraft was bought in 2000 by Paul Allen for his Flying Heritage Collection.

Originally N523MW with Mountain West Airlines 1979 - 81, this Bandeirante next flew with Valdexz Airlines from 1981. It was re-registered N103VA in 1983 before leased to American Central Airlines until they ceased flying in 1985. Westair leased the aircraft for United Airlines commuter services and bought the it outright in 1987.

A workhorse for Allegheny Airlines, USAir and US Airways 1968 - 2000 , N978VJ was retired to Mojave, CA. It was later broken up.

A 1974 JetRanger previously registered to Okanagan and Transwest Helicopters. In Woodland's fleet from 1983, the helicopter was reported written off, but I have found no details. The registration was cancelled in 1997.

Later with the 159th Fighter Squadron, 125th Fighter Wing, Florida ANG, this F-15 was retired to AMARC on May 22, 2008. The aircraft was placed on display in front of the Warner Robins City Hall in 2014.

Bamaji Air added this Caravan to their fleet in on July 2003. On March 8, 2022, the aircraft departed Sioux Lookout and flew at 600 feet to remain below cloud in good visibility. Crossing Lac Seul it entered a snow squall midway way across the lake. The pilot attempted to arrest a descent the aircraft had entered when checking for ice on the wings, but struck the frozen lake surface. Two people on board suffered only minor injuries.
