'Captain Jack Curtis' This aircraft was built as a C-47A-1-DK with USAAF serial 42-92274 but was delivered to the RAAF as A65-29. Post-war it became VH-TAE with TAA, before going to their New Guinea 'Sunbird' services as VH-SBL. It went to Air Niugini in 1973 and became P2-SBL the following year (later P2-ANR). In 1992 it returned to the Australian Register as VH-SBL. To Dakota National Air in 1992, company renamed Discovery Air Tours in 2003 and aircraft seen here advertising their website.

A photo of the other one can be found here. Neither aircraft could be positively identified because all data plates had been removed, but this one is suggested to be FAE4341, ex PP-ANP. This may have undergone a conversion during its civil years in Brazil in the 1950s, explaining the pax door. (Nikon D610 + Nikkor 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED AF-S).
