Mildenhall Air Fete 1979. Operated by NAF Mildenhall. Delivered to the US Navy on 16 May 1956. Later to NAF Sigonella who sent it to storage at MASDC on 02 June 1986. To Lamb-Depollution, Tucson, AZ on 21 Dec 2020 for scrapping.

Transferred to Italian AF, 306° Gruppo, 1961-02-23. Coded by Italian AF as SM-2, SM-5, SM21 Assigned to 31° Stormo and coded 31-21 in October 1976. Withdrawn from use and stored in Ciampino 1978-02-18. Demolished in Ciampino in April 1987

Delivered to Sabena as CV-440-12 OO-SCS in 1956. To Frontier Airlines as N73166 and converted to a CV580 in 1968. To other operators from 1984 then to Kelowna Flightcraft as C-GEUZ then C-FHKF in 1999. To Conair in 2000 and converted to a firebomber. Last flight to Victoria, BC for preservation at the BC Aviation Museum in 2022.

Delivered new to SAS 13 June 1956, she served on European and Scandinavian routes for the tri-national airline until November 1976 when she was sold to Botswana Desert Airways and the registration 3D-AAC was applied, but not taken up. She was then sold to Nor-Fly as LN-MAP where she remained until 1983 and withdrawn from use at Fornebu where she ended as a fire trainer. During 1998 she was moved to Oslo's new international airport at Gardermoen where she is seen on a cold winter's day after an exercise

Operated by Dow Jones. Built as N4818C for Delta Air Lines and delivered on 27 Oct 1953 as a Convair 340 and later converted to a 440. WFU and stored in Apr 1970.Dow Jones operated it between 1974 and 1984. Cancelled by the FAA as destroyed in 1996.

Northeast Airlines CV-240 at HYA, near Cape Cod. N91241 was worn earlier by c/n 161, which crashed at Portland, Maine on 11 August 1949, just four months old. It was replaced that September by this machine (c/n 162). Apparently its first registration was N90838. Perhaps it was intended for another customer? First flown in November 1954 as N8453H and delivered to the USAF as 54-2820 in February 1955. Stored as Davis Monthan in February 1998, registered briefly as N43895 in July 1992 before onward sale, the same month, to Bolivia. Leased briefly to Caribbean Flights of Venezuela as YV-914C from July 1996 to June 1997. Sold to Rovos Air as ZS-ARV in August 2001 and flew with them until they ceased operations in 2009. Acquired by HARS in 2015, ferried to Australia in August 2016 and registered as VH-TAA in November 2016

Delivered to Hawaiian Airlines as CV340-36 N5508K in 1953. To LAN-Chile as CC-CLCC in 1961. Reregistered as CC-CBI in 1963. To North Central Airlines as N7529U then to Hawaiian Airlines in 1965 and converted to a CV640F in 1966. To Zantop International Airlines in 1973. Withdrawn from use at Willow Run in 1994 and scrapped in 2001.

Delivered to United Airlines as CV340-31 N73137 in 1953. To Alaska Airlines in 1962 then to General Dynamics in 1965 and converted to as CV640F. To Hawaiian Airlines in 1966 then to Zantop International Airlines in 1973, C&M Airways in 1997 and Aeronaves TSM as XA-UJI in 2008. Stored at Saltillo, Mexico by 2021.
