Pictured in front of North Carboo Air's Fort St John offices, CF-DKK has arrived from a lease to Southern Frontier Air Transport. Still wearing Time Air colors (who operate the aircraft 1972 - early 1981), it would be re-painted with the registration updated to C-FDKK. The aircraft was last operated by Pacific Airways Corporation registered RP-C1154 from May 1990. On April 2, 1996, the empty aircraft was taxiing back to the hangar in Manila after deplaning when it was struck by Philippine Airlines Boeing 737 EI-BZF while crossing the active runway. Both pilots survived.

Originally 41-20084, this C-53 was NC15574 and N70B before coming to Canada in 1955 as CF-HXS for Shell Canada. Sold to Quebec Cartier Mining in July 1958 and later re-registered CF-QCM. Note, this aircraft had a Hiper DC-3 conversion in the past with P&W R-2000 engines and new propellers for improved performance, especially single engine performance. You can the the slightly longer prop shaft that maintains clearance with the fuselage. Sold to British Holdings in British Columbia in 1979, it was cancelled from the register in 1980.

The RCAF brought this Expeditor on strength in 1952 as 2307. In 1964 it was modified to an Expeditor 3NMT. Sold in 1974, it became CF-CKT flying for International Forest Fire Systems in Alberta with a modified cabin door for smoke jumpers. The aircraft is pictured with Eastern Pacific Aviation after retired in March 1980 (with the previous owner's logo still on the tail). Acquired by the Canadian Museum of Flight & Transportation, it was moved by helicopter to the museum's original Surrey location. Moved by truck the museum's new location in 1995, it displayed in a bare metal finish.

This EC135T2+ is based at Squamish Airport and is equipped with a hoist to transfer maintenance crews to high voltage hydro electric power lines in the Hwy 99 Sea to Sky corridor between Vancouver and Lillooet, BC and elsewhere in southwest British Columbia. The BC Hydro utility changed its policy and started contracting twin engine helicopters to maintain power lines after a fatal crash of a single-engine Bell in Cranbrook, BC in 2008. In Dec. 2021, Blackcomb had 21 helicopters and eight bases, including five bases on the Hwy 99 corridor. This EC135 also does mountain rescue hoists.

442 Squadron CC-115 Buffalo visits Vancouver International Airport from Canadian Forces Base Comox on Vancouver Island in April 1974. The aircraft is parked outside the Canadian Forces' Air Movement Unit (AMU) hangar which was located on the northwest side of runway 26 which was a hangar used by RCAF Sea Island which closed in late 1964 for budgetary reasons. This aircraft was delivered new in May 1970 in camouflage to 429 (Tactical Transport) Squadron. It was converted to SAR configuration and repainted white in the early 1970s and repainted SAR yellow in the early 1980s. Date might be 1975.

First Flight on June 6, 1966, this Twin Otter (CF-SJB at the time) was involved in certification testing and also company demonstrations. It was sold to Pan Arctic Oil in June 1968 and registered CF-PAT. Kenn Borek bought the aircraft in May 1978 and frequently leased it out. Pictured getting put on floats for Harbour Air, the airline leased the aircraft for the summers of 1986 - 87 and 1990 - 97. It was withdrawn after return to Kenn Borek in September 1997 to be used as a source of parts. C-FPAT was donated to the Aero Space Museum of Calgary (now the Hangar Flight Museum) in 2002.

Looking like a quite time in front of West Coast Air Services hangar, there were a lot of things happening behind the scenes for this Otter. In previous owner Trans North Turbo Air colors, the aircraft was registered to Tyee Airways in April 1979. Pictured after West Coast took over Tyee, Air BC would take over West Coast before the year was out. Tyee's owner sued to keep his airline operating separately, but C-FSUB would be sold to Air North in June 1980 to fly in the Yukon.

Trans-Provincial Airlines Goose pictured in their recently revised colors; the airline reversed the red and blue of their previous scheme. Trans-Provincial ceased flying in March 1993 and the aircraft was leased to Waglisla Air from June until it crashed on take-off at Prince Rupert, BC on December 4, 1993. The wreck was salvaged and the wings used to re-build Goose N327 / cn 1051.
