Delivered to Pacific Western Airlines May 28, 1981, C-GRPW received the interim Canadian Airlines /Air Canada color scheme after their merger. Having the lower powered JT8D-9 engines saw it retired in September 2003. Stored at Mojave, CA and sold to a leasing company, the aircraft was parted out in 2005.

Delivered new to Pacific Western 28th May 1981 and merged into Canadian Airlines Apr 1987, then merged into Air Canada Apr 2001

After the take over by Air Canada in 2001, this former Pacific Western Airlines 737 would be withdrawn in September 2003. Stored at Mojave, CA, it was sold to Wells Fargo Bank and registered N286TR on paper. The registration was cancelled in November 2003 and the aircraft broken up in 2005.

After arriving from Boeing Field on delivery, C-GRPW is taken in the hangar for final checks and modifications before entry into service.
