Delivered to the USAAF in Jun-1944 as 42-93765. In Feb-1946 it was handed over to the UNRRA - United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration from where it was delivered in Mar-1947 to JAT as YU-ABB. On 12-Sep-1967 it was damaged in a severe storm while en route from Sarajevo to Belgrade. It was withdrawn from use and the registration cancelled in Dec-1967. Subsequently it went to the the Muzej Vazduhoplovstva Beograd in Apr-1968 where it is in storage. The MiG-21 behind it is 17402.

Changed hands several times and its last UK assignment was as an exhibit at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, 1982 to 1989, after which it was exported as N59NA. In 2014 it was converted to Basler BT-67 Turbo and current as C-GOOU in 2021.
