Briefly operated by British European Airways in 1949, then with Cyprus Airways and returned to the UK for Skyways of London. Here still in basic Skyways livery (turquois with red pin stripes), it is here on delivery ferry to the Bahamas where it became VP-BBR in February 1960. Later to N101AP and wrecked on the ground in a hurricane on 17 September 1989 at Saint Thomas, VI. This photo was added on 1 May 2021, and has since been viewed 419 times. |
