Early testing was done with this Thrush for fire fighting.

Built for the US Army as 53-7915 and sold to the civil market in 1974. I was a little taken aback when I saw C-GAEE here on the ramp in Whitehorse until I found out it was done up for a part in the movie "Never Cry Wolf".

This Challenger was used for airways calibration across Canada. First with Transport Canada, the aircraft transferred to Nav Canada when Canada's civil airways system was privatized in 1996. It was later operated by the Province of Quebec from 2009 - 2015.

Big Top 747 that was leased from Wilmington Trust after it's March 30, 1985 delivery. There were short sub-leases to Ansett Australia and the aircraft was re-registered as 9V-SKJ after returning the second time in September 1998. To Corsair International as F-HJAC in December 2001, then moving to Air Atlanta Icelandic, the aircraft was finally returned in February 2007. Stored at Châteauroux, France, it was broken up in 2008.

Still listed on the registration as owned by Rotorcraft Leasing Company, the business is operating now as RLC.

Previously with Ontario Central Airlines, this Beaver was in Buttonville for a new paint job as ownership changed to Parsons Airways.

Originally US Navy bu 137933, this Albatross was retired and stored in 1966. Sold surplus in 1981, it became N70275 and flew with several airlines before a series of private owners. Last with Stargazer Aero, they registered it N1955G in 2016. Unfortunately, the aircraft was lost August 25, 2018 on a mission to deploy weather buoys off the coast of North Carolina. It struck an unknown object on take off 425 miles off shore. The five member crew abandoned the seaplane and were picked up by a container ship, the aircraft later sinking.

One of two DC-9s ordered by German independent airline Sudflug, but never operated. In financial difficulty, the airline was bought by Lufthansa in 1968 and later folded into Condor Flugdienst. The DC-9s were acquired by Swissair before entering service, this one delivered in October 1968. Sold to Texas International in December 1981 as N538TX, it would fly on with Continental Airlines. The aircraft was last registered ZS-OLN since August 1999.

Delivered to Nordair November 28, 1968 with a vintage registration (previously used on a Nordair DC-6 and DC-4), this 737 merged into the CP Air and Canadian Airlines fleet in 1987. Sold to TAT (Transport Aerien Transregional) in December 1989 as F-GGPA, the aircraft was last with Air Méditerranée as F-GOAF from August 1997. It was stored in Romania in 2005.

Opposing solo Lt. Tyler Davies tucks up the gear for another display. Lt Davies joined the Blue Angels in 2015 and 163444 has been flying with them since 2011.

Pictured with Transport Canada who operated it for 30 years (1972 - 20002), this King Air is current on the Canadian register with Grondair Aviation at the time of uploading.

One of five Electras operated by Northwest Territorial, this one was in the fleet from June 1981 to January 1991. It was sold to Air Bridge Carriers in the UK to become G-FNWY. The aircraft has since returned to Canada in 2003 with Air Spray as air tanker 485 registered C-GZVM.

This 737 was delivered to Pacific Western on December 19, 1973. Sold to EE&G in February 1983, it flew military and contractor employees to restricted locations. The unofficial airline is sometime known as Janet from their call sign. The aircraft was retired in 2005 and stored. Pictured in front of PWs hangar originally built by Canadian Pacific Airlines to service their Bristol Britannias, this hangar is now a Federal Heritage Building and dodged the fate of the Boeing Canada factory on the left of the photo. Erected in 1939 to build Catalina / Canso flying boats, it was demolished in 1980.

Built under contract for the US Army Air Force as 43-49945 for the Royal Air Force. Delivered January 1945 as KN281, it was passed on to the Royal Canadian Air Force in April 1946. Later serialed 12910, it was sold and registered in the USA as N64766 in November 1977.

Pictured in 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School colors from nearby CFB Portage. The Kiowas were replaced in the primary training program with new Bell CH-139 Jet Rangers in 1992 and the Kiowas were returned to tactical helicopter squadrons. This Kiowa survives displayed on a pole outside the New Brunswick Military History Museum at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown (commonly referred to as CFB Gagetown, it's former name)

Built in 1952, this Beaver was originally with the Fuerza Aérea de Chile with serial FAC 912. Withdrawn in 1969, the aircraft made it's way to Canada in 1970 as CF-CQP. Resource Air owned it March 1991 - December 1995. It is current on the Canadian register with a private owner at the time of uploading.

Although looking new, this Long Ranger was delivered to Air Logistics (later Bristol US) in February 1995. It was newly registered to Southern Utah University when displayed at HAI Heli-Expo 2019 and photographed departing.

Time Air's first DHC-8 was delivered April 2, 1987 as C-GWRR. Except for a lease to Henson Aviation / Piedmont Airlines / US Air Commuter May 1992 - May 1996, it flew as a Canadian Partner and Air Canada Jazz (after Air Canada's take over of Canadian Airlines in 2001) until sold to Wells Fargo Bank in July 2006 and leased to Freedom Airlines as N807LR. When Freedom's Delta Connection contract for the Dash 8s was cancelled in August 2007, the aircraft was stored at Grand Junction , CO until flown to Calgary in March 2008. It has since been broken up for parts.
