The aircraft first flew 31 August 1955 and scrapped some time in August 1973.

AC848 touches down on rw27L after the 6 h 44 red-eye across from Toronto (YYZ).

One of Air Canada's leased A320s brought on line in July 1992.

Part of the Canadian Museum of Flight collection. This Lodestar was initially displayed at Surrey, BC, but when in 1996 the museum moved from there to Langley, BC, the aircraft ended up here, on temporary display. In Oct 2007 it was dismantled and trucked to Abbotsford, BC for a long-term cosmetic restoration by students of the University of the Fraser Valley Aerospace Centre, which was expected to take 15-20 years. When finished, the aircraft will join the rest of the museum's collection at Langley, BC, Canada. Note the Trans-Canada Air Lines - TCA logo on the nose.
