Part of the Skyfame Collection's impressive static line-up at the 1975 Gloucestershire Air Show. Skyfame sadly closed at Staverton in January 1978. G-AFBS made its way to Duxford along with much of the collection. It remains on display there in October 2024.

Part of a batch of 110 Hunter F.6s, XG194 served 43, 111 and 92 Sqdns before modification to FGA.9 and allocation to 229 OCU. On being withdrawn, it was mocked up to look like a Soviet Sukhoi to train personnel on disarming WarPac types. In 2009 the aircraft was rescued from dereliction at RAF North Luffenham by the Wattisham Airfield Museum, where it has undergone restoration to its former appearance as a Treble-One Sqdn 'Black Arrows' aircraft. Indeed XG194 was the lead Hunter in the famous 22-ship loop at SABC Farnborough 1958.

Former Czechoslovak AF V-35, now painted to represent a Luftwaffe Me 262, this two-seater was a hybrid constructed by Avia from abandoned 262 airframes after WW2. It served the Czech AF as V-35 for research purposes, then being transferred to a fighter squadron in 1950.

During the 1930s, war in Europe seemed likely and the Flygvapnet felt there was a need for a medium-heavy bomber. Therefore, 40 Junkers Ju 86s were ordered from Germany and given the designation B 3. A further 16 frames were manufactured under license by Saab in Trollhättan. This is the only preserved Ju-86 example in the world. It was manufactured in Germany and delivered to Sweden in 1938. The aircraft type was already obsolete, yet still served in the Flygvapnet across three decades. During the 1950s it was converted into a transport aircraft and made its last flight in 1958 to ESCF.

The identity of this aircraft is complex. It is a composite airframe consisting of the fuselage of Ex Saudi F53 53-686 with the wings of 53-700. The port side is in Saudi Air Force markings with the "correct" serial number 53-686. The starboard side is in RAF 74 Squadron markings as XR768 / A. However these same markings had also been applied to a totally different F53 (53-672). The aircraft pictured had also previously had the genuine UK military serial ZF592 and the UK civil registration G-AWON, which it wore prior to original delivery to Saudi Arabia.

Fifi receiving maintenance in the Commemorative Air Force hangar, including of course her highly complex Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone engines, producing 2,200 hp each. Her military serial 44-62070 can be read upon close inspection, from the standard data block.
