Door art representing an Airacobra flown by Lt J.T. Evans of 110th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron (TRS), 71st TRG. The unit was based at Gusap Airfield, New Guinea from Feb-Jun 1944 before moving to Tadji Airfield from where this aircraft was recovered. This model was fitted with the 1,200 hp Allison V-1710-85 engine and a slightly larger Aeroproducts propeller, but it made little difference to the low top speed, rate of climb and poor performance at higher altitudes. "Girlie" has twelve P-400 type exhaust stubs per side. Baling out of the side car door was considered a risky proposition.

"THe Swords" was an aerobatic team fielded by 3 FTS just for 1974, disbanded at the end of the season as an economy measure by the MoD. Four aircraft were flown but a fifth spare appears here. Ängelholms Flygmuseum is located in one of the hangars of the former Ängelholm air base. It has an interesting collection of former Swedish Air Force aircraft. This SAAB J35J Draken is one of the aircraft that called Ängelholm home.

Delivered as a Jaguar GR.1 in 1976. Converted to a GR.1A by 1987 then to a GR.3A by 1999. Withdrawn from use at St.Athan in 2005. To Everett Aero, Bentwaters in 2006 then to Morayvia, Kinloss in 2017.

A line of (temporary) stored Hornets, Super Hornets and a sole Fighting Falcon. The desert camo Hornet is 162840, a Lot 17 one ordered in FY84. It started as a fleet F/A-18A and served squadrons like VFA-132, VFA-25, Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) VFA-125 and then arrived with the Naval Strike Air Warfare Center, that later became the Naval Air Warfighting Development Center. Here the NSAWC Hornet is seen in sorry state, missing parts and ejection seat. It was last reported in early 2018, fate ?
