"THe Swords" was an aerobatic team fielded by 3 FTS just for 1974, disbanded at the end of the season as an economy measure by the MoD. Four aircraft were flown but a fifth spare appears here. Right to left: XW315 (caught fire in air 1984 and not repaired), XW424 (crashed 1977), XW407 (crashed 19860, XW370 (to Cosford as GIA) and XW428 (to USA as N4311M)
