Transair leased (and later bought) this F-28 from Fairchild Hiller in October 1972. Pacific Western Airline bought financially troubled Transair in 1977. After merging the two airlines in 1979, the F-28 was sold to Air Niuginii as P2-ANE. In service in the South Pacific until withdrawn in April 2004, the aircraft was scrapped by September.

Owned by California Flight Partners after November 1984, this Jetstream would be leased to Pacific Coast Airlines. I don't believe it ever entered airline service but used instead for parts. It was noted stored at Santa Barbara, CA without engines circa 1988. The registration was cancelled in 2014.

This first DC-10 built for KLM was the second one delivered to the airline March 15, 1974. As the DC-10-30 prototype, McDonnell Douglas utilized the aircraft from it's first flight on June 21, 1972 for developing and demonstrating the longer range International version of the DC-10. A short lease to African Safari Airways in June 1994 preceded the aircraft's return to McDonnell Douglas (N525MD). Later with Krasnoyarsk Airlines until sold to Continental Airlines in October 1997 as N2089, it was stored at Greenwood, MS in April 2001 and broken up.

Built in 1982, this Hercules is still current at the time of uploading with the Algerian Air Force, now registered 7T-WHP.

Delivered August 31, 1970, N7412U is named for the United's first stewardesses. The full name on the aircraft is "The Original Eight ; Ellen Church, Ellis Crawford, Inez Keller, Margaret Arnott, Cornelia Peterman, Harriet Fry, Jessie Carter, Alva Johnson". Sold in 1985 it was leased first to Pan American World Airways. Retired by Polar Air Cargo, the aircraft was used by Prestwick Airport to train firefighters until broken up in 2017. The nose section is preserved at North East Land Sea and Air Museums located on the site of the former RAF Usworth/Sunderland Airport.

In 1970 Vance International Airways was purchased by McCulloch Oil Company, changing the name to McCulloch International Airlines. Re-equipped with American Airlines Lockheed Electras, they flew potential land buyers to properties near Lake Havasu City, AZ. This aircraft would see the color scheme updated by changing the green cheat line to red and eventually adding the McCulloch logo. Later with Ansett ANA and Evergreen International Airlines, the aircraft was with the Armada Argentina as 6-P-101 when it crashed on September 29, 1989 at Almirante Zar Naval Air Station at Trelew, Argentina.

On 25 May 1979, as flight 191 from ORD to Lax, the #1 engine and pylon separated from the wing at rotation and the aircraft crashed less than a mile from the end of the runway with the loss of all aboard.

Minneapolis based North Central Airlines began introducing this new color scheme in 1978. It was also the year de-regulation of the airline industry began in the USA. North Central would merge with Southern Airways in 1979 and the color scheme would form the basis for the resulting Republic Airlines. N963N would fly on through the merger with Northwest Airlines in 1986 and retire in August 2005.

Delivered to Continental Express/Expressjet Airlines as N13988 in 2000. Continental Express merged into United Express in 2011. Withdrawn from use at Kingman, AZ in 2020.

Originally United Airlines N7240U. Other registrations include N727PL, N727CK and N792A.

This aircraft was leased seasonally from Eastern Air Lines, where it was N312EA, so it often had a hybrid livery as seen here in July, 1974 at YYZ, Later, with Air Transat, on July 6, 2001 it flew into an intense hail storm over France. Although it landed safely without casualties, the damage was beyond repair and it was written off.

Built in 1977 and here on lease from Transavia (PH-TVP) which ran 1985 to 1991. Later to PK-IJH and wrecked on 30 November 2004 in a runway overrun.

Millardair operated this 1957 Beech 18 (previously N3618B) February 1975 - April 1993. The aircraft went to to USA as N118SA where it is still current at the time of uploading.
