Built for the RAF as a Canberra B.2 in 1953. Converted to a Canberra U.14 target drone in 1960/1 and used by the Royal Navy for missile trials. Reworked as a Canberra B.2(mod) in 1963 then to the A&AEE in 1964. Used by Martin-Baker from 1985. Stored at Boscombe Down in 1988 then dismantled and moved to Aberporth in 1990. Scrapped in 1994. Forward fuselage to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, Old Sarum.

To Turkey as 4020 in 1991. Still operational with the Turkish Stars display team in 2023.

Cobija-based Stationair 6 FAB-337 visited El Trompillo.

On the first of its three visits to IAT/RIAT. Delivered in 1973. Still in service in 2022.

Team 60 did not fly long with the F10 codes of Angelholm AB.

A total of 52 H-19s from the US Air Force and army are present here, sandwiched all together like this. From my vantage point I could only see about a quarter, but 129022 was one of them. Even though I can't recall nor read from the full rez pic which exactly.

The Shiden or 'George' was unusually developed from a floatplane fighter, the N1K Kyofu or 'Rex'. It was a formidable dogfighting aircraft, despite technical issues that were solved in the N1K2-J Shiden Kai with low-set wing. This is assumed to be c/n 5511, Imperial Japanese Navy tail code 201-53, which was captured in the Philippines in January 1945 and given identification number S7 by TAIU-SWPA at Clark Field. It only flew once as such as the undercarriage collapsed on landing. Note that US insignia are a bit off, with old-fashioned rudder striping serving as a warning to Allied pilots. The very last T-23 Uirapuru operated by the Bolivian air force was FAB-183, seen here at its homebase El Trompillo where it was flown by Grupo Aéreo de Entrenamiento 21, part of the Colegio Militar de Aviación (COLMILAV).

Delivered to the RAF as XV571 in 1969. Spent the whole of its service life with 43 Sqn. Scrapped at Leuchars in 1992.

Delivered to the RAF as XV470 in 1969. To Akrotiri, Cyprus and allocated maintainance serial 9156M in 1992. Still there in 2018.

Registered as VR-NAQ in 1955 then G-ARKU and to the Royal Navy as XR443 in 1961. Sold as G-ODLG in 1990 then VH-NJP in 1993. Preserved at Sharjah with fake registration G-ANFE from 2003.
