This 727 was slated to be 6Y-JIR but was delivered as 6Y-JMC on November 12, 1975. Sold to GPA group and leased back in 1985 as VR- CMC, it was re-registered 6Y-JMO in 1987. Guilford Transportation rescued bankrupt Pan American Airways in June 1998 (the former Carnival Air Lines re-named in 1997) and leased the 727 in December as N364PA (Clipper Deschapelles). Returned to the lessor just before Pan AM (III) shut down in November 2004, it was later broken up at Orlando - Sanford International airport.

Delivered to Aeromexico on November 15, 1974 XA-DUO is pictured finished loading and preparing to depart. Tragically it later crashed on November 8, 1981. Thirty-five minutes after take-off from Alcapulco enroute to Guadalajara, the DC-9 suffered a cabin depressurization. The captain requested an emergency descent and return to Acapulco. The airliner struck high terrain at 6,000 ft in the Sierra de Guerro mountains.
