Ex 42-23546, FD862. To BOAC as G-AGHP in August 1943. Reported ferried to Tripoli, Libya on 11 October 1943. Listed as based at Bristol - Whitchurch at the end of 1945. The logo with the word Speedbird is thought to be postwar. Dakotas carried out the UK - Lagos route, via Lisbon and Bathurst, until July 1947. G-AGHP was seriously damaged at Croydon in August 1947, which thwarted a transfer to Hong Kong Airways - VR-HDO not taken up. To BEA in December 1948. Converted to Leopard class freighter in 1953. Operated by Transwest Air Express. To the USAAF as 42-93482. Later to civil life as XT-823, B-823, N6634C, CF-MCC with Nordair and N14636 by 1974. Operated by Transwest Air Express by 1978. Registration cancelled as expired on 19 Aug 2013.

Ex 43-15652, delivered to USAAF 22 April 1944. To Royal Danish Air Force 19 October 1956, initially as 68-688, serial changed to K-688 30 November 1959. To the Netherlands Air Force Museum 16 December 1982.

Built as a C-47A under a USAAF contract as 42-93194. Re-designated to a US Navy R4D-5 serial 17199 and delivered 28 April 1944. Later re-designated to a C-47H in 1962. To the US civil register as N91379 with Johnson Flying Service in February 1966. To Evergreen in June 1977. To Basler Flight Services on 13 February 1979. To Caribbean Islands Air Charter on 22 July 1980. Civil registration cancelled on 22 May 2013.

Built around 1941 as a C-53 for the USAAF with serial 41-20101. It was later sold on as XT-90, N8262C and then N26H. Registered as N39DT on 04 Apr 1980. It crashed on 28 Jul 1987. The cargo flight departed Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD/KLRD), United States of America and was destined for Ciudad Camargo Airport, Mexico. The accident occurred at Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD) (United States of America) while in the initial climb. The airframe was damaged beyond repair.

Taken at the outdoor aircraft display area at the original USAF Museum site. This C-47A was retired to the museum in August 1960. In 1970 it was found to have extensive corrosion and was scrapped.

Based in Europe for twenty years and at nearby Burtonwood for much of the 1950s. After the base closed in early 1959 the aircraft was based at Speke for several weeks. It was later converted to an EC-47Q for service in South East Asia and was eventually withdrawn at Clark AFB in the Philippines in 1974

Built for the USAAF as 43-48406, later to D-18 (Czechoslovak AF) OK-WZA, D-CABE (ntu) 4X-AOA (ntu) and French Navy '6' with EPV 56S. Sold to Basler in 1985, converted to a BT-67 (conversion N°14) and delivered to the Policia Nacional de Colombia as PNC-0211 on February 2, 1993. Written off in a ground explosion at Medellín-Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH) 26th February 2009.
