When pictured, this 1976 Lear 35 was owned by Canada Jet Charters. Tragically, the aircraft was operating a medevac flight from Vancouver January 11, 1995 when it flew into the ocean on a non-precision approach to Masset, BC. Probable cause was determined to be a mis-set altimeter.

Delivered in May 1957, this Beaver spent it's career in British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon. The floatplane met it's end on December 3, 1990 when it broke the dock mooring during a storm and drifted out to the middle of Nootka Sound. Sinking in a 1,000 ft of water, it remains at the bottom of the sound.

"Out of the clear blue of the western sky comes Sky King" was the opening of the 1950s US TV show that introduced thousands of kids to aviation. Sky and his niece Penny used an airplane instead of horses on their Arizona ranch in weekly adventures. A Cessna T-50 was the first "Songbird" replaced in 1956 by a new Cessna 310B. The Hawaii Express began operations in August 1982 with a single Boeing 747 (N355AS). Flying between Los Angeles and Honolulu, the airline added two DC-10s in May 1983. Former Western Airlines N904WA was leased from ILFC and returned after the short lived carrier suspended operations in December 1983. Later flying with Arrow Air and Air Hawaii, it went to American Airlines for a short time as N167AA. Bought by FedEx in 1999, it was converted to a MD10 -10F. After it's last revenue flight on December 18, 2019, the aircraft was retired to Victorville, CA.
