This 1947 built Seabee has just emerged from a make-over including new windows and paint. The registered owner since 2001 has a Vancouver address. Prior to that it was based somewhere in Ontario (personally seen at Guelph/CNC4 in 1988), however no flight activity record exists.

This airframe was previously located within the Finnish Forestry Museum at Punkaharjo, but was seen minus wings at the Karelia Aviation Museum at Lappeenranta Airport. It is unclear if this is a permanent move or a loan. This airframe is allegedly the first civilian aircraft imported to Finland after WW2 during 1947. It then suffered a wheels-down water landing on lake Kaukopää in 1958, overturned and sank, writing off the airframe. The wreck was recovered and was stored for a period of time at Vesivehmaa (EFLA) until being moved to Punkaharjo in 2011.
