This DC-9 was one of three with charter carrier All Star Airlines (1983 - 85). First with Air Canada (CF-TLE) from February 1966, it was sold back to Douglas as Air Canada added larger DC-9-32s. Leased to Texas International Airways (N15335) for a year and Southern Airways, it was sold to Finnair (OH-LYD) in 1971. This early Phantom II first flew in 1963 as what became the second development RF-4C. Bailed to McDonnell Aircraft, it flew development work for the manufacturer as well as GE Flight Test in 1966 for J79 engine testing. Returned to the Air Force in 1978 as a ground trainer, the aircraft was displayed at the Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum until it closed in 2015. The aircraft was transferred to the Regional Military Museum in Houma, LA in 2016.

David Tallichet / Yesterdays Air Force in Chino, CA from 1972 before Canadian Warplane Heritage acquired it in 1978. Registered as C-GCWG, the aircraft was flown as Royal Canadian Navy ABG. It was destroyed in a hangar fire at Hamilton's Mount Hope airport on February 15, 1993.

After merging with local Twin Otter operators Cable Commuter, Catalina Airlines, and Skymark Airlines in 1969 the carrier was re-named Golden West Airlines. Sold to a leasing company in 1982, the aircraft flew in the South Pacific for several years before stored at Fort Lauderdale, FL circa 1990. Losing parts over the next two years, it was bought by World Jet Aircraft and made flyable in 1992. Registered N128WJ and several owners and operators later, the aircraft has flown with Skydive Arizona since 2001.
