Delivered to Continental Airlines subsidiary Continental Express May 14, 1998. The regional carrier changed their name to ExpressJet Airlines just before it was spun off in 2001 and continued to operate Continental Express flights. In 2012 ExpressJet merged with ASA - Atlantic Southeast Airlines, keeping the ExpressJet name, with this aircraft transferring to United Express flying. It was retired in 2014 and sold to component and parts supplier Aerovision Aircraft Services and stored at Kingman, AZ.
