Registered CF-QOQ when delivered in May 1950, this Beaver later went to the New York Daily News registered N1488V. It returned to Canada as CF-QOQ again in 1962, flying with several airlines in Quebec and Newfoundland. Rebuilt in 1984, it was sold to Bellair in 1985 registered N64396. Sold in 1992, it was re-registered N915MC to a private owner. The floatplane was written off in a crash at Lake Hood, AK on June 7, 2009 that was well documented on video. Rebuilt, the aircraft is current in Alaska registered N70JE at the time of upolading.
