This Twin Otter was delivered to Long Beach, CA based Aero Commuter in May 1968. After merging with local Twin Otter operators Cable Commuter, Catalina Airlines, and Skymark Airlines in 1969 the carrier was re-named Golden West Airlines. Sold to a leasing company in 1982, the aircraft flew in the South Pacific for several years before stored at Fort Lauderdale, FL circa 1990. Losing parts over the next two years, it was bought by World Jet Aircraft and made flyable in 1992. Registered N128WJ and several owners and operators later, the aircraft has flown with Skydive Arizona since 2001.
