"XZ133" flew the last LGB mission during the day of the Argentine forces surrender in the Falklands campaign. When the "white flag" was seen waving over Port Stanley, the aircraft was called back to HMS Hermes, a few minutes before the planned release of her bombs over the Argentine HQ.

This Dora was delivered to the Luftwaffe in March 1945 and served as the commander's plane of JG26. It is the only D-13 to have survived the war and although airworthy will not be flown again as it is so rare. Now on display at the Flying Heritage Collection.

The sole Chilton DW.1A wearing an attractive early postwar scheme and 1955 racing No.10. Auster Autocrat G-AJRH (c/n 2606) in the background wears No.11.

There are conflicting stories on D-ICDS. One is it crashed in 1985 and was not repaired. The registration was transferred to the second prototype (CD-2 c/n 1001). Another says it was rebuilt as more representative of the production aircraft. In that scenario, the second prototype (CD-2 c/n 02) was slightly larger and registered D-ICKS. Another source says the aircraft at Paris was the CD-1A c/n 01. That is what has been used here. D-ICDS at Paris 1987 had the shorter fuselage and round windows of the first prototype (CD-1) but the wing and pontoon design of the CD-2.
