This example carries "Birdman" Leo Valentin who can be seen facing rearwards with his folded wooden wings prior to a drop, when he would glide for a while before deploying his parachute. He was killed near Liverpool (Speke) on 20 May 1956 when a wing was damaged as he left the aircraft.
