Commemorative tail for 55 years 312 sqn. J-640 was written off after an mishap at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL/EBCI). It would been deliverd to the Fuerza Aera Chile. but as it was decided not to repair the aircraft , it was scrapped. J-203 went to Chile instead.
Take off on 13:00 LT, the flight itself would end in the Waddenzee, around 15:00 LT near the island Vlieland, after a engine failure. Pilot 1Lt. M. van Zuijdam escaped successfully from his aircraft. Aircraft belonged to 312 Sq, despite the 311 Sq badge
This was delivered to the French AF in 1977. After being withdrawn from use it became an instructional airframe at Rochefort in Jul-2005. In Jan-2012 it was delivered to the Museo Nacional Aeronautico y del Espacio at Santiago- Los Cerillos in Chile.
E4 was delivered to the French AF in 1972. After being withdrawn from use it was stored at Chateaudun where it was last seen in Sep-2004. It is seen here landing after a display flight. Note the effective camouflage.
