The original D-ICDS, the Seastar CD-01A, crashed in 1985. The registration was transferred to the second prototype (CD-2 c/n 1001) as seen here. This aircraft had the shorter fuselage and round windows of the first prototype but the wing and pontoon design of the planned production CD-2.
