Part of the Canadian Museum of Flight collection. This Lodestar was initially displayed at Surrey, BC, but when in 1996 the museum moved from there to Langley, BC, the aircraft ended up here, on temporary display. In Oct 2007 it was dismantled and trucked to Abbotsford, BC for a long-term cosmetic restoration by students of the University of the Fraser Valley Aerospace Centre, which was expected to take 15-20 years. When finished, the aircraft will join the rest of the museum's collection at Langley, BC, Canada. Note the Trans-Canada Air Lines - TCA logo on the nose.

Delivered to Trans Canada Airlines March 21, 1958. Last Air Canada flight was on February 19, 1974 and the aircraft went into storage at Winnipeg, Manitoba. Although sold in April 1974 and again in June 1975, the Viscount remained in storage until sold one more time to Zaire Aero Service in September 1978. Broken up for spares in N'dolo, Zaire 1982.

Air Canada got their money's worth with this DC-9. Delivered April 11, 1968, the airliner flew it's last revenue flight with Air Canada in December 2001 . Ferried to Mojave, CA on February 11, 2002, the aircraft was stored until sold to Jet Midwest Group as N890JM in April 2007. It was quickly placed with Global Aviation in South Africa registered ZS-SAW in October 2007.
