Between 1960 and 1969 it was on the Swedish register as SE-DCD and painted yellow for use as a target tug with Svensk Flygtjänst AB. In January 1969 the plane was handed over to the historic flight collection as Malmen for restoration and display.

On 31 Augusts 1953, this Venom NF51 was accepted by the Swedish Air Force, which designated the type J33. In 1960, it was sold to Svensk Flygtjänst AB as SE-DCD, and deregistered as such in January 1969. In August 1976 it was first reported with the excellent Flygvapenmuseum in Malmen, which exhibits the aircraft in its Cold War room.
