Delivered in 1956, the Canadair Sabre remained the SAAF's frontline fighter until replaced by the Mirage III in 1963 before withdrawn from service in 1980. 367 went to the SAAF museum and the red letter and fuselage band identifies this as a Sabre from 2 Sqn SAAF.
