Accepted by the Luftwaffe Oct.1942 but abandoned to the advancing allied forces the next month. Allocated RN228 by No.1426 Enemy Aircraft Flight Feb.1944. Displayed at various venues post-war and shown above as Yellow 14 in the desert colours of JG53. Registered to the IWM as G-USTV 26 Oct.1990. Rebuilt to flying standard with first post-restoration flight 17 March 1991. On 12 Oct.1997 on what was its last planned flight before handing over to the RAF Museum, it was substantially damaged in a landing accident at Duxford. Since rebuilt to static display standard and now at RAF Museum, Cosford.

Delivered to the RAF as XX766 in 1975. Later upgraded to a Jaguar GR.3A. To Cosford for use as ground trainer 9257M in 2006.

Tested by the RAF as RN228. Part of the historic aircraft exhibition at Wattisham Battle of Britain day. Restored to flight and registered to the IWM as G-USTV February 1994. Flown regularly until damaged in an accident at Duxford on 12th October 1997. Rebuilt for static display. At RAFM Cosford in 2022.

Removed from storage and waiting to be prepared for departure. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code FN179 in 1988. Left in 1993. Converted to QF-106A drone AD253 and shot down in 1996.

Built for USAF as T-38A 65-10327 and transferred new to NASA on 13 December 1965 as N907NA. NASA operated the a/c until 11 July 1973 (FAA reg. cancelled) and transferred it to the US Navy with Bureau Number 510327. It was assigned to the US Navy Test Pilot School, and was eventually struck off charge on 12 January 2001. From February 2009 through January 2013 it was on display at the El Paso Museum of History marked as NASA N999NA. Now on display at US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama still marked as NASA N999NA. Slide taken by Mr. R.B. Starinchak.

Australian warbird Harvard VH-SFY is painted as NZ934. It has the code "34" in line with normal RNZAF practice. However the real NZ934 carries the code 14 in this photo, presumably a stencilling error. VH-SFY does have two unusual features of NZ934 - the serial on the rudder instead of the fuselage and and the sash on the rear fuselage. The RNZAF used bands. NZ934 was sold for scrap in 1958. Although not marked as such, this TA-4J was assigned to VA-127 when the slide was taken. Originally built new in 1967 as a TA-4F and converted into a TA-4J in December 1971. Assigned to VA-127 & VFA-127 from 1967 through 1989, then to Training Air Wing 3. Retired to AMARC in either 1990 or 91.
