Returned November 15, 1989, Eastern stored the L1011 until it was sold to Delta Airlines as N788DL July 25, 1991, six months after Eastern ceased flying. Sold to Interlease Aviation Group in January 1997 re-registered as N826CR , the Tristar was leased to Tradewinds Airlines. Returned to the lessor in July 2002, the aircraft was broken up at Greensboro, NC in March 2004.
