Initially N3624D with Cessna, the registration was cancelled in 1956 when delivered to Shell Oil Canada as CF-SHL. Acquired by Seneca College in 1968 for their new aviation program, it joined a Cessna 172 and Piper Arrow to form the initial fleet. Pictured in it's last months with the college, the 310 and the single engined aircraft were replaced by new aircraft delivered from Cessna in 1973.

This is the Great-Grandfather of all the Gulfstream-Jets! As the very first one, the luxury bizjet performed its maiden flight on 02/OCT/1966 as N801GA, and after a re-registration to N55RG in 1970 it was active until SEP/2012. Donated to a museum at Charlotte NC, the jet has been preserved since then. - from the NK collection.

This DC-3 had been abandoned on a glacier in Iceland in 1950, when operating as USAF SC-47D 45-1013. It was salvaged by the founders of Loftleidir, operated as TF-RVP in 1951 and sold via England to Iberia in 1952 as EC-AHA. They were still using it in 1973 to link Malaga to Melilla. It was sold in 1974 as N62265 and became RP-C148 later that year. It was broken up in 1978.

The BAC-111 was quite important on European Inclusive Tour routes in the early Seventies. Germanair's D-AMAT, British Midland's G-AXLM and Dan-Air G-ATPL all using the ventral stairways. We were waiting for our BAC-111 to Heathrow, Cambrian's G-AVGP....our Honeymoon jet, you could say!!
