Delivered new in 1958 and served until 1962 when it went to Caledonian Airways as G-ARYE (1962-66), then Sudflug as D-ABAR (1966-68) after which it took up the registration 5T-TAR for Biafra airlift work. The Nigeria Air Force destroyed it in an air raid in October 1968. [A nice time-exposure shot, here taken at twilight with the ramp floods giving illumination and the glow of cabin lighting clearly visible. Luckily nothing or nobody moved to mar the photo, as happened with others.]

Originally built for KLM in 1957 and operated by them until 1962. Then it was used by Martinair from October 1962 through April 1965. Operated by Modernair as N383M from May 1965 through 1969. It appears the Golden Odyssey Club was leasing this aircraft from Modernair when I took this slide.

Built in 1957 and here in a hybrid livery as it moves away from The Flying Dutchman era. It was converted to a freighter in 1960 and so lasted until 1969 when it went to Aer Turas Teoranta as EI-ATU. Lastly it flew with Affretair as TR-LNY until scrapped circa 1980.

About to grease it on is this 1956 built 'Seven Seas' smartly painted in a livery that really suits it (IMHO). Later it flew with Saturn Airways as N90773 from 1963 to 1969, after which it was scrapped.
